The following work was performed:<\/p>\n\n

- The radiator was repaired and the leaks eliminated<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- New oil separation system at the exhaust<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Lubricating oil return line connected<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Diesel leakage oil line replaced<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Water pump repaired<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Rods for the whistle installed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Engine seals and gaskets replaced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\nThe locomotive had to be completely sanded down for the new paintwork. In some cases, up to four layers of paint had to be removed. The engine cover was taken off to ease restauration work.<\/p>\n\n\n
