Museum Day at the DFKM on \u201cOpen Monument Day\u201d \u2013 September 13h, 2026<\/h1>\n\n\n

On 13 September 2026, you can ride from the historic Deinster railway station to the L\u00fctjenkamp Museum and back through the Stade countryside in a 1919 army field railway carriage pulled by a 1927 Henschel steam locomotive <\/strong>. The journey, including a visit to the museum shed, takes approximately 50 minutes. Refreshments are available at the barbecue at the station and the kiosk in the museum shed. Departures are hourly from 10:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. . The open-air museum is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>At good weather conditions the open lorry train with historic diesel locomotive runs from Deinster station to the new end of the line every hour from 11:10 a.m. - 4.10 p.m.<\/strong>. It is possible to change between steam and open seat train in L\u00fctjenkamp. (see Time table<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the L\u00fctjenkamp museum shed, you will find a special exhibition featuring various real steam engines on G gauge tracks in operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
