Visitor rules

The Deutsche Feld- und Kleinbahnmuseum e.V. (DFKM) is a private non-profit organisation. It operates a museum that collects and preserves vehicles of the field railway gauge (600 mm) and - where operational - shows them to visitors and invites them to take a ride. The collection of other exhibits is partly displayed in the Lütjenkamp field barn.
Please observe the following visitor regulations: !
- The instructions of our staff must be followed. In the event of non-compliance, the DFKM will not be liable and may revoke your access to the premises of the museum.
- Only enter the site and cross the tracks at the designated points. Entering fenced-off areas, walking in the track areas and on the rail heads ( risk of slipping, risk of injury) is not permitted. Only authorised personnel shall operate the equipment (railway swithces, couplings, brakes, etc.) ! Visitors are liable for any damage and expenses caused by them.
- Children are only permitted to enter our museum and vehicles when accompanied by adults who are liable within the scope of their supervisory duties.
- An admission ticket must be purchased when entering the museum premises (issued in the form of a historical ticket). Admission tickets can entitle the holder to one or more rides during the demonstration of our museum vehicles, as season tickets with different durations, and can also be issued as group tickets. Further details can be found in the current price list at the ticket office.
- Photography for private purposes is permitted on our premises. The personal rights of other visitors must be respected.
Prior authorisation must be obtained from the DFKM for commercial photography and filming.
We are not liable for any soiling/staining or damage to visitors' clothing that may occur in the course of normal museum operations.
The parking of motor vehicles on the DFKM premises is only permitted in the designated areas on Bahnhofstrasse and the adjacent loading road.
