Restoration of the Diema DL 6 locomotive 32 in 2021
The Diema DL 6 was and is often used to carry tools and materials on work activities of the DFKM. The locomotive was technically intact, but its exterior had suffered seriously over the years of use. The refurbishment started in summer 2021.

The frame was painted red, the buffers and the axle bearing housing black.
The bonnet was painted in a leaf green colour. This is why the DL 6 was nicknamed the ‘leaf frog’.
