Restoration of a HAWA army field railway car from Hanover-Linden
Once the 1919 carriage had been salvaged, it was found to be in a very poor condition. Steel and wood work were required and the entire paintwork had to be renewed.

The floor is installed.

The side panels are installed.

The window cut-outs are fitted.

The car is privately owned, but the DFKM has the right to use it.
