Humboldt-Deutz-Motoren AG, Cologne, delivered our diesel locomotive 14 to the Wilhelm Schreiber company in Bremen on 2 July 1938. From there it came to the Martin Möller construction company in Worpswede, which donated the locomotive to the DFKM in May 1979 together with diesel locomotives 18, 19, 20 and 21.

Locomotive 14 had already been parked in Worpswede for 15 years, but the engine started up again immediately after its arrival in Deinste. After a short period of use on the line, however, it was parked due to its poor external condition.

In the winter of 1985/86, diesel locomotive 14 was completely dismantled, largely re-plated and repainted.

A special feature of this locomotive is the compressed air starting system, the pressure tank of which was re-approved by the TÜV in spring 1989. A mechanical gearbox with a 2-cylinder 2-stroke diesel engine is installed.

The locomotive is ready for operation
