October steam at the DFKM on October 03, 2024

With the Henschel steam locomotive from 1927 you will travel in the 1919 army field railway carriage on 3 October 2024 from the historic Deinster station to Lütjenkamp-Museum through the Stade Feldmark and back. The trip including a visit at the museum shed takes about one hour. The barbecue at the railway station and the kiosk in the museum shed provide refreshments.Departures take place every hour from 10:40 - 15:40.

At good weather is nice, the open lorry train with a historic diesel locomotive runs from Deinster train station through the fields to the new end of the route every hour from 11:10 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.. Possibility to change between steam and lorry trains in Lütjenkamp.

The hand lever trolley is available for physical exercise.

Watch the craftsmen at the museum service, all repairs and maintenance are performed by the volunteer members.
