The delivery was made in 1963 to W. Auerbach, Dortmund for Rhein.-Westf. Wasserwerke mbH, Mülheim. It was passed on to the Dieter Meiners peat works in Steinau in 1965. In 2002, the DFKM was able to acquire the locomotive for its museum. It has a semi-mechanical transmission with a 2-cylinder 4-stroke diesel engine and electric starter.
